Johnny   WHO THEY IS? An IASA astronaut and smarty-pants scientist. Comes from the Deep South, but isn't married to his sister or a member of a white supremacist movement, though he does like to make people squeal like pigs. Took a while to settle into his new environment, but is now like part of the furniture. Got cloned, sort of. One of him died, but not before giving it many times over to Miss Sun, and very possibly impregnating her. IN ONE WORD? Confused COMEDY VALUE? A constant stream of comedy goodness emanates from him, mostly by accident, but you've gotta love his whole fish out of water problem. A BIT LIKE? Han Solo? Buck Rogers? Mork? TRIVIA? Mark Hamill was the producers first choice to play Johnny, but had to pull out after the first week of shooting when he was offered a low-budget TV movie thriller.
